Close to Our Hearts

Ruby lived nine years of her life chained and cooped up in a kennel. Her coat was greasy, stained yellow and had a funny smell. Since she has come into our lives, we have been working on this with regular baths. Sunday was another one of those days. We started the day off with a morning walk, followed by a bath. All tuckered out, she snuggled in the blankets for much of the day.
